On Wednesday 7th of April 2021, the results of the “THALIS II – Mapping & Evaluation of the Non Profit Organizations in Greece” program were presented.
“Pediatric Trauma Care” was among the organizations that participated in the program, which was conducted by the Political Science and International Relations Department of the University of the Peloponnese and the Non-Profit Organization HIGGS in collaboration with researchers from 3 universities, and was funded by the Charitable Foundations: TIMA Charitable Foundation, Stavros Niarchos Foundation, Athanasios K. Laskaridis Foundation, Captain Vassilis and Carmen Constantakopoulos Foundation, and John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation.
The evaluation process consisted of two cycles. The first cycle took place in 2018-2019, while the second began in the Autumn of 2019 and was completed in December 2020.
The second cycle of the program included more qualitative criteria, regarding the evaluation of each organization’s main activities from the perspective of their beneficiaries. A total of 95 organizations completed the quantitative part of the evaluation, while 71 organizations managed to fully complete the second cycle of the program, including the qualitative part.
Our Charity was evaluated in two fields of activity, Education and Health, receiving 4 stars in both fields, which was the highest number of stars awarded to the NGOs who participated in the program. Specifically, in the field of HEALTH, out of the 33 NGOs that took part, only 13 NGOs received 4 stars in the quantitative part and 16 NGOs in the qualitative part. In the field of EDUCATION, out of the 52 NGOs that took part, 21 NGOs received 4 stars in the quantitative part and 28 NGOs in the qualitative part.
