Sports are a big part of our lives. They play a great role in the physical and mental well-being of children and teenagers.

Through sports we can make sure that we stay in good physical condition and at the same time learn about teamwork and the spirit of fair play.

Of course, where there is increased physical activity, there is also a greater chance that an accident might occur.

Ash Monday, also known as Monday of Lent, is the day we fly kites. It is a tradition which brings a lot of joy to the family, especially the children. Unfortunately though this custom often results in accidents occuring.

It is our great pleasure to inform you that we have offered necessary equipment to the Paediatric Clinic of the Regional Health Center of Elafonisos, thanks to a donation to our Charity by Cosmote S.A.

Burns can be caused by fire, hot food or objects, chemicals, electricity and the sun.

Most accidents involving children aged 0-4 years occur at home, as that is where they spend most of their time.

Young children are naturally curious and their sense of danger is not developed, hence it is important when shaping the areas of our home to take into account the children’s age.

By being extra cautious many accidents can be avoided.
