Visit to the Accommodation Facility for Unaccompanied Minors in Nikaia
On Tuesday 27th of April 2021, the President of the Hellenic Republic, Mrs Katerina Sakellaropoulou, and the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, Hieronymos II, visited the Accommodation Facility for Unaccompanied Minors in Nikaia, created by “Synyparxis – Ecumenical Refugee Program”.
Among the guests were the Deputy Minister of Migration and Asylum, Mrs Sofia Voultepsi, the Special Secretary for Unaccompanied Minors, Mrs Irene Agapidaki, the Director of the International Organization for Migration of Greece, Mr Rocco Gianlucca, as well as the President of “SYNYPARXIS”, Bishop of Ilion, Acharnes and Petroupolis, Athenagoras, and the Bishop of Nikaia, Alexios.
The new Paediatric Clinic of the Facility was fully equipped by our Charity thanks to an anonymous donation.
