Give & Fund – “Urgent Need Seamstresses”

“Pediatric Trauma Care” is joining forces with Mr. Marios Tériade Eleftheriadis and Mr. Konstantinos Tektonidis, who launched the initiative “Urgent Need Seamstresses”, in order to make cotton masks desperately needed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Through the “Give & Fund” platform, we are raising money to buy the materials needed for the production of 100.000 masks.

You can support this effort here.

346 seamstresses and tailors from 137 cities in 37 prefectures throughout Greece, will produce the masks, which will be 100% cotton, washable and reusable. The masks will then be collected by “Interamerican” and delivered to Hospitals.

In a letter, the Minister of Health, Vassilis Kikilias, thanked the “Urgent Need Seamstresses” for their extremely important donation and all their work.

The Olympic medalist Ioannis Melissanidis became an ambassador for the “Urgent Need Seamstresses”, inviting people to help raise the funds in order to make 100,000 masks for hospitals and other health infrastructures in need.
