We would like to inform you about the results of our efforts from 2010 up to the present date and, more specifically, our news concerning the last seven months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
2010 – 2017<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n – The General Hospital of Karpenisi, thanks to the OTE Group ( cost \u20ac 40.000 ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n – The General Hospital of Chalkidiki, thanks to Sani Resort & Ikos Resorts ( cost \u20ac 36.151 ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n – The \u2019Andreas Papandreou\u2019\u2019 General Hospital of Pyrgos, thanks to the Company Norton Rose Fulbright Greece ( cost \u20ac 53.123 ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n We were also able to equip the following Hospitals and Health Centers with the necessary machinery:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n – The General Hospital of Zakynthos \u2018\u2019Aghios Dionysios\u2019\u2019, thanks to VISA and an anonymous donor , ( cost \u20ac 15.000 ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n – The Health Center Karlovasiou in Samos, thanks to Allianz and to the Bodossaki Foundation, ( cost \u20ac 6.727 ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n – The Health Center in Sifnos, thanks to the \u2018\u2019Friends of Pediatric Trauma Care\u2019\u2019, ( cost \u20ac 1.200 ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Also, thanks to the generosity of the companies VISA, \u2018\u2019Mega\u2019\u2019 Disposables, Hellenic Petroleum, Novartis Hellas and Attiki Odos , we were able to offer the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n T<\/strong>o the ”Aghia Sophia” Children’s Hospital \u2013 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit : – One Neonatal incubator, (cost \u20ac 8.556 ), Sponsor: VISA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n – One Neonatal incubator, (cost \u20ac 8.556 ), Sponsor: \u2018\u2019Mega\u2019\u2019 Disposables S.A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n – One monitor, (cost \u20ac 4.092 ), Sponsor: Novartis Hellas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n – One jaundice meter, (cost \u20ac 3.596 ), Sponsor: Attiki Odos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To the ”Aghia Sophia” Children’s Hospital: To the ”Paidon Pentelis” Children’s Hospital: – Consumables, (cost \u20ac 1.634 ), Sponsor: \u2018\u2019Mega\u2019\u2019 Disposables S.A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To the General Hospital of Leros: To the General Hospital of Larissa:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n – We are in the process of equipping the Trauma Center with equipment worth \u20ac 18.370. We still need the amount of \u20ac 19.930 to complete it. We will inform you analytically in our Annual Report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Education on Trauma Prevention:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2018\u2019Alpha Bank\u2019\u2019 adopted, for yet another year, the sponsorship of our Program on Trauma Prevention, ( cost \u20ac 8.000 ) together with the \u2018\u2019Friends of Pediatric Trauma Care\u2019\u2019, ( cost \u20ac 2.000 ). From January, we have given 24 presentations in kindergardens and primary schools and we estimate to have visited a total of 36-38 schools by the end of 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A.P.L.S \u2013 P.L.S. Seminars (Advanced Pediatric Life Support – Pediatric Life Support):<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n Thanks to the donation of an anonymous donor we were able to help fund the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n – One A.P.L.S. (Advanced Pediatric Life Support) Seminar in collaboration with A.P.L.S. HELLAS in Athens, attended by 36 doctors ( cost \u20ac 5.400 ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n – Three P.L.S. (Pediatric Life Support) Seminars in collaboration with A.P.L.S. Crete in Crete, attended totally by 77 doctors and nurses ( cost \u20ac 3.850 ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n – We offered four splints for trauma immobilization for the seminars, ( total cost \u20ac 554 ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our future goals are the following:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n To create Trauma Centers and to equip the Health Centers at:<\/p>\n\n\n\n 1) General Hospital of Larissa : to complete the Trauma Center<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2) General Hospital of Trikala<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3) General Hospital of Tripolis<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4) General Hospital of Santorini<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5) General Hospital of Syros<\/p>\n\n\n\n 6) General Hospital of Serres<\/p>\n\n\n\n 7) General Hospital of Kastoria<\/p>\n\n\n\n 8) General Hospital of Filiates (Igoumenitsa)<\/p>\n\n\n\n 9) Health Center of Hydra<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our work continues and we are making great efforts to ensure that children are kept safe and are offered the best possible medical attention when needed.
